Post office Smart Card deals
published: Monday | September 4, 2006

The JUTC Smart Card is reliable, safe and budget-friendly. - Contributed

Public transportation commuters can reap rich rewards with Smart Card purchases at select post offices.

In a special promotion starting today and running until September 30, Jamaica Urban Transit Com-pany (JUTC) Smart Card cus-tomers can get 10 per cent extra on purchases between $500 and $2,500.

Come into a post office and get your Smart Card now and start saving!

The Postal Corporation of Jamaica recently began to sell the JUTC Smart Card. It is a 'swipe card' similar in operation to an automated banking machine card, otherwise called a debit card.

It uses an electronic system to place cash value on the card the first time it is activated and more value may be added to recharge it.

Listed below are the post offices at which you can purchase or top up your Smart Card.

Central Sorting Office (CSO)

Cross Roads (Kingston 5)

General Post Office (GPO)
