published: Monday | September 18, 2006

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC):

A 39-year-old Jamaican man was shot in a tough neighbourhood in San Fernando on the weekend, the Sunday Express newspaper reported.

Roy Spicer said he was standing on the Old Train Line Road in Victoria Village last Friday evening when a stranger walked up and shot him on the left side of his torso.

Spicer, who gave his address as Enterprise Village, Chaguanas, is now a patient at the San Fernando General Hospital.
