LENWORTH 'TEACHER' HYDE, coach of Harbour View, has expressed confidence in his team's ability to win this season's Wray and Nephew National Premier League title.
Harbour View, which under Donovan Hayles squandered a 15-point lead last season and failed to lift the League trophy, made it two wins from as many starts on Sunday by beating three-time champions Arnett Gardens.
"This is our second consecutive victory and we would like to take this momentum into the the game against Reno on Sunday and for the rest of the season," said Hyde who guided Portmore United (then Hazard) to premiership success in 1999 and 2003.
On Sunday, strikes from Loxley Thomas (13th minute) and Kavin Bryan (78th)saw the Stars of the East through. Leon Strickland, who left Harbour View in the pre-season, got Arnett's consolation three minutes from time.

Another returnee, Marcelino Blackburn, nearly gave Arnett a share of the points but his 90th minute header found the woodwork.
A victorious Hyde said his team delivered on the game plan, adding that losing is not an option for his team.
"Under this new points system it is important to win games. Those that we can't win we have to think about drawing. But it is important that we keep the momentum going," Hyde said.
He added that Harbour View, despite losing several players in the off-season, boast a unit that can win the Premier League.
"We just have to maintain the discipline and keep the players comfortable," he added.
Meanwhile, Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey, who presided over a second consecutive loss by Arnett said his team needed to start doing the right things.
"For the second game in a row we had a team on the ropes only to find ourselves on the wrong end of the result," Bailey said.
