THE EDITOR, Sir:
Christianity has been hijacked and torpedoed, not by men like Dan Brown and The DaVinci Code, as the church would have us believe, but instead, by the very clergy of Christendom who have done a magnificent job of it. Wolves and reprobates have invaded the flock of Christ. That great Apostle of the Christian faith, St. Paul, alluded to this in Acts 20:29-30. "For I know that after my departure shall grievous wolves enter in among you ... Men arise speaking perverse things to draw away disciples after them.
As frightening as it may sound, the Sharia laws of Islam, if even used under a different name, may prove to be the saving grace of western society - a stabilising force. The world has gone mad. See what happened to that 14-year-old girl in that van.
