For me the meal was mouth-watering, plus the staff was very courteous. As Jamaicans would say, "The chef gat seasoning in his hands," because dishes were eye-catching and tempting to the palate.
I had the rosemary-roasted chicken marinated in olive oil served with guava mint sauce. It was hum-hum delicious, not to mention the mixed vegetables. I could eat them by themselves as they were well seasoned and finger-licking good. To top it off, everyone had one dessert item, from the cheesecake to the rum and raisin ice cream. It was all worth it.

Well Worth It
The menu at Robin's Bay Village & Beach Resort is well worth the tedium of journeying through the winding roads of Junction - a trip that lasts only one hour from Kingston via Stony Hill.
The hotel's guests have the privilege of enjoying their sumptuous menu creations at a whim. But it is not uncommon for people to travel to the resort, not to stay over, but just for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The menu includes old favourites and innovative twists with recipes that are unique to the resort.
Their offerings are innately Jamaican, but still cater to the international palate as they serve to mix traditional Jamaican recipes with familiar, and some not so familiar, flavours of the world. Those with a timid palate may stick with the evil they know and try the infallible escoveitch fish, or those with a more adventurous approach to food might select their grilled fillet of snapper served with turmeric sauce.

Fantastic
The grilled fillet of snapper was fantastic! Though I prefer the brown-stew variety, the lack of grease from the dish was a welcome change. Not having any idea what turmeric sauce was, I found out it is an ingredient in curry and it complemented the fish very nicely. Coupled with the rice and peas and vegetables, it was a very filling entrée.
