Good job!
published: Monday | September 25, 2006

THE EDITOR, Sir:

Heartiest congratulations to Messrs. Trevor Gayle and Michael Simms. They became the most recent residents of the Passage Fort Housing Scheme to be recognised for their work in the community, by persons outside of the community. These men are very long-serving members of the Citizens Association of the Passage Fort Housing Scheme.

In 2004, Mr. Gayle and Mr. Simms were recognised by First Caribbean International Bank under the scheme 'Unsung Heroes of the Community.' Recently, they received their instrument of recognition from the bank. They are now among the very few persons who have been recognised by a body outside the community, for their work in the Passage Fort Community. Big-ups to them. These men, both high-ranking officers of the Citizens Association, have served the community long and with distinction. They were always motivated by the need for community upliftment. Once again, congratulations to both of them.

I am, etc.,
