Keens-Douglas for ambush marketing campaign
published: Monday | September 25, 2006

Keens-Douglas

GEORGETOWN, (Stabroek News):

Trinidadian comedian Paul Keens-Douglas was selected unanimously by the nine regional participating Local Organising Committees (LOCs) to promote the Cricket World Cup 2007 anti-infringement campaign with public messages on radio.

The anti-infringement campaign is to focus on the issues surrounding the regulations which would legally protect the interests of the tournament's official global partners, official sponsors and the integrity of the event.

The LOCs hope to inform the public about the International Cricket Council's processes which have been established to manage infringement, also known as ambush marketing, and to provide relevant advice to individuals and companies across the region.
