Taking back Jamaica
published: Tuesday | October 3, 2006

The Editor, Sir:

Unfortunately for Jamai-cans our politicians and our criminals are not yet aware that we are all completely fed up with their behaviour, especially now that the silly season is in full swing.

What a tra la la with Mr. Holness and Rev. Blair. This should never have happened and it is time these people realise that we the people can think for ourselves and all we need for the politicians to do is to tell us what are their plans to run this country and we will look at these plans and make our choices.

No need for garrisons

It is certainly not necessary to have garrisons as every Jamaican must be free to go anywhere in this country and we should make this clear to our politicians that they must send a clear message to wrongdoers in their parties that they will not accept into their organisations anyone who wants to destroy this beautiful land.Enough is enough.

We have so many problems besetting us and instead of our politicians coming together to try and solve these problems they are busy dividing the nation. They are copying the rules of our former colonial masters of dividing and ruling.

I am, etc.,
