Debate free education
published: Wednesday | October 4, 2006

The Editor, Sir:

Please allow me to comment on the JLP offer of free education. Instead of being blinded by our own selfish desires and motives, ignorance and arrogance, our own self-interest and putting party politics above the future of our children, the issue of free education needs to be debated by all the people. This must be in continuity beyond the generations if free education is put in place and should be put in place.

To deny a generation from education is a judgement cast upon them by those that are critical of its existence (Marcus Mosiah Garvey, National Hero). Do not cast judgement upon your own flesh and blood, your own children, the next generation. Remove the generational curse. Hold Bruce and the JLP responsible to their word. Help any government to do this for the future of your generation. We have a responsibility to the future generation to make them better than us.

Put your children first, you put your nation first.

I am, etc.,
