Mandeville Chamber boss held with stolen car
published: Saturday | October 7, 2006

MANDEVILLE, Manchester:

Richard Longmore, a branch manager for one of the country's leading financial institutions, was taken into police custody on Thursday, September 28, in relation to a stolen motor car in his possession.

According to the police, Longmore is cooperating with them. They told The Gleaner that the investigations so far have led them to believe that other persons are involved in a wider car theft network.

A graduate of Northern Caribbean University, Longmore was elected president of the Mandeville Chamber of Commerce earlier this year, making him the youngest president of the organisation.

In the meantime, his employers told The Gleaner that he has always performed well and that the matter is a private one that does not involve the bank in anyway.
