Maintaining your cells
published: Monday | October 16, 2006

Cells are the fundamental components of all human life. It is the complex, intricate, elaborate working of the cells in your body that maintains life and health. Your health depends on the health of the cells in your body. The principles of cellular health are the basis for preventing disease and restoring health.

The average human body is made up of up to 70 trillion cells. There are about 210 different types of human cells and each cell has a specific role to play in how the body functions. It is the harmonious collaboration of all our cells that makes the body work in an optimal fashion.

Disease results when cellular function goes wrong. Dysfunction in one cell eventually spreads to others and our whole system is out of balance. Restoring balance at the level of the cells directly affects our overall health and well-being.

In our current model of health care, treatments focus largely on alleviating symptoms. While this can, in the short term, be very helpful, it is often not adequate to eradicate disease and restore health as it does not get to the root of the problem.

THE STORY OF CELLS

Each cell is a living entity - it is born, it lives and it dies.

Amazingly, each day millions and millions of cells die and millions are born to replace them. Your body is constantly renewing and repairing itself.

The cells lining your stomach are replaced every 48 hours, a liver cell lives for 90 days, a red blood cell, 120 days, and brain cells for 50 to 100 years. It is estimated that each year the human body replaces over 90 per cent of its cells. Right now you are living in your late 2006 model! Because your body is constantly renewing itself, you are never stuck with your health problem. Healing, repairing, improvement in health is always possible. Indeed, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

CELLULAR NUTRITION

A cell eats. It uses nutrients and oxygen to produce energy like a little power plant. The nourishment your cells receive is critical to your health. A lot of medical research clearly indicates that many common illnesses are the result of unbalanced cellular nutrition. Our modern foods are very nutritionally unbalanced, we make poor food choices and we live stress-filled lives that further deplete our body's nutrients.

Cellular malnutrition is the problem and cellular nutrition is the answer. For almost 15 years I have been using patented nutritional programmes carefully designed to provide the body with optimal nutrition at the cellular level. They have contributed greatly to my own excellent health and the tremendous results that my patients routinely report even when challenged by severe illness.

I am convinced that nutritional supplementation is now necessary for optimal health and even the conservative American Medical Association now agrees with me. If your doctor tells you that you do not need to supplement your diet, tell him that he is out of touch with modern medical research.

NUTRITION IN ACTION

My team of wellness coaches has used a powerful way to introduce cellular nutrition to every Jamaican. We have created units called nutrition clubs all over Jamaica. Here, club members are exposed to a basic experience called a shake.

The concept of the shake - a liquid meal - was developed by space agency NASA as a way of providing convenient, highly nutritious food for the early astronauts. Top scientists used space-age technology to create this super food. Each day, thousands of Jamaicans now enjoy high-quality cellular nutrition with amazing benefits to their health and well-being.

A second drink served in the club - a patented, blended herbal tea, another super food - further amplifies the impact of the shake. Apart from providing cellular nutrition, there are two key foods in these drinks - soy protein and green tea. Endless medical reports continue to testify to the numerous medical benefits of these two foods for the health of the heart, colon, breast and prostate, while positively affecting diabetes and hypertension and many other conditions.

I have been travelling the length and breath of the country visiting nutrition clubs and I have been blown away by the reports I hear. The words of Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, ring true in our nutrition clubs every day. He said, "Let your food be your medicine, and let your medicine be your food."

I suggest that you find a nutrition club near you and arrange to visit it. Put the power of cellular nutrition to work for you.
