HARBOUR VIEW made it five from five with a hard-fought 2-0 win over August Town in their Wray and Nephew National Premier League encounter at the Compound on Monday.
Greg Taylor (22nd) and Kavin Bryan (71st) enabled Harbour View to maintain their 100 per cent winning start to the season and move four points clear at the top of the standings.
Harbour View now have 15 points and lead defending champions Waterhouse (11) after they could only salvage a point against Village in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Newcomers August Town turned in a spirited performance and with a little bit of luck could have had a better result.
They remain on seven points in mid table and although losing, showed they can compete with the best.
Winning coach Lenworth Hyde Sr. was thankful for the three points and paid tribute to the opponents.
"We played well, but I must lift my hat off to the August Town team. I think they had a very good game but they just not scoring goals," Hyde said.
Good attacking core
"But my plan is to score goals and we have a good attacking core in the squad and they are doing the job for us," he said.
Meanwhile, Christopher Bender, coach of August Town, noted that inexperience got the better of his team although it played well.
"We played much better in terms of our movements and passes but again inexperience but it is a learning process for us," Bender said.
"We were having the better of play when Harbour View scored their second goal and the team lost a little confidence there," he said.
In the Under-21 encounter, goals by Anthony Christie (34th) and Michely Waul (88th) led Harbour View to a 2-0 win.
