PORT-OF-SPAIN(Trinidad Express):
A mother's hope that her daughter will soon be reunited with her was the only comfort Cynthia Ramlochan still had as she made yet another plea for kidnappers to return the missing woman.
Officers of the Homicide Bureau, Special Anti-Crime Unit, K9 and U.K. Forensic officers searched a house at St. Joseph on Tuesday after investigators received information that may lead to the recovery of kidnap victim Rehanna Ramlochan.
'Sick person'
Investigative sources said that the officers were at the Agostini Trace home of a man and his two sons on Monday night and returned again early Tuesday morning.
Cynthia Ramlochan pleaded with the kidnappers of her daughter, Rehanna, yesterday: "Let me speak with her, if anyone knows where she is, let me speak with my daughter. I am a sick person, time is passing and I am not hearing her voice."
Saying that maternal instincts told her her daughter was alive, Ramlochan said her days were spent looking out the windows of her house to see her daughter coming home.
'Feel she's alive'
"Deep down in my heart, I feel she is alive and I know that day will come soon, so I am looking out at every car that passes for her," Ramlochan said.
Saying that both her blood sugar and pressure levels were high and that she could not see well, Ramlochan added: "I will probably die and not see my daughter. I need to hear her voice. I just want to hear her say, 'Mummy,' and I will be OK.
"Please, please, let her go, I am a poor person, I am not rich, I am appealing, I need to hear her voice, I need to talk with her, even if it is just for a minute," she said.
