The Editor, Sir:
My state of anxiety in waiting to hear the Prime Minister on the Trafigura affair was rewarded with a clever strategic move made by Mr. Bruce Golding in the form of a no-confidence motion brought against the Government.
This strategic move forced the Prime Minister to speak, but instead of addressing the issues that led to the resignation of one of her ministers and another apologising, she chose to deliver verbal blows to my intelligence.
Nevertheless, I felt a lot better knowing that the Opposition had done a good job by forcing the Prime Minister to declare her hand, country or party. It is my belief that the Prime Minister chose the latter.
I am, etc.,
