Pan Caribbean Financial Services, in recognition of the importance of the fight against breast cancer and the many financial constraints being faced by the Jamaica Cancer Society (JCS), forged a relationship with the society about six years ago.

The financial services company was the major sponsor of last year's JCS's 'Keeping Abreast' Luncheon. This year Pan Caribbean has once again aligned itself with that event, sponsoring the upcoming luncheon to be held on October 26 at the Hilton Kingston hotel. It is one of the chief fund-raising events for the society expected to attract over 500 persons This year the guest speaker will be attorney and talk-show host, Ronald Thwaites.

"Pan Caribbean is elated to have been given the opportunity to sponsor yet again. We look forward to a successful event and expect that the society will benefit tremendously from the proceeds," Miss Crooks said.

Proceeds from the event will be used for the prevention and control of breast cancer in Jamaica, by educating women and providing cancer screening, counselling and emotional support for persons across the island.
