LETTER OF THE DAY - New targets for the next government
The Editor , Sir: I feel that the time has come for us as citizens of Jamaica to demand exactly what we want and insist that it be delivered. Very few Jamaicans could be satisfied with the performance of our government in recent times...

Much ado about nothing

The Editor, Sir: Is it just me, or are we the only country on the planet where the harmless doodlings of a person could cause such a furore? I have come to the conclusion that should this current PM walk on the surface of the sea...

We want to see the 'King'

The Editor, Sir: I am somewhat perplexed as to why the local cinemas do not see it fit or even important to bring to the local arena the latest Christian movie, One Night with the King , depicting the true story of Esther.

A sick man's plea

The Editor, Sir: I am a 32-year-old male who is HIV-positive. I have been on medication for quiet a while now, so it would be officially AIDS. I use the name Bryan Charles to protect my identity.

State should not fund parties

The Editor, Sir: Government senator Professor Trevor Munroe is actually proposing that the Government funds political parties. How nonsensical this is. Such a sentiment can never be taken seriously.
