Jubilee to get a fresh coat for Christmas

The Victoria Jubilee Hospital (VJH), is to receive a facelift for Christmas, Health Minister Horace Dalley announced yesterday.

Addressing journalists following a tour of the Kingston Public Hospital, Mr. Dalley said he has given instructions for the buildings to be painted.

He also noted that elevators have been ordered for the facility at a cost of $77 million

Meanwhile, the Health Minister said he has received the report surrounding the death of a baby at VJH but has not had a chance to go through it as yet. He explained that the report was sent to his office on Monday but he was at a Cabinet meeting.
