FirstCaribbean Inter-national Bank has moved to reassure its customers that it is committed to providing the highest professional and trustworthy service, despite the alleged leaking of information about a $31-million transaction in an account linked to former Information and Development Minister, Colin Campbell.
An isolated case
In a letter to one of its customers, dated October 6 and received by mail yesterday, Managing Director Milton Brady said the incident was an isolated case.
"Nevertheless, it is of grave concern to FirstCaribbean that confidential customer information is now in the public domain," he said.
He added: "We wish to advise that we have made significant progress in our investigations."
"I wish to personally assure you, our valued customer, that we will leave no stone unturned, as we move to restore customer confidence in our operations. First-Caribbean is committed to providing the highest level of professional and trustworthy service that you have come to expect of us," the
letter said.
