Angelina Jolie has collapsed on the set of her new movie.

The actress, who is in India filming A Mighty Heart with her partner Brad Pitt, has fainted three times since shooting started earlier this month.

One source explained: "Angelina was in the middle of filming when something went wrong.

Emotional scene

"The scene she was shooting on October 10 was emotional.

"In it, her character, Marianne Pearl, learns that her husband, Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, has been killed by terrorists in Pakistan."

They added: "She literally collapsed while filming it."

According to reports, Angelina first passed out on October 8 after a rickshaw, carrying the Tomb Raider star, Brad and her five-year-old son Maddox, was mobbed by paparazzi.

As soon as the three of them got back to their hotel, Angelina collapsed on the floor.

She lost consciousness for a second time while she was getting out of bed the following morning.

Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina have donated $100,000 to the Daniel Pearl Foundation.

The couple's generous contribution was announced on October 10 - which would have been the late American journalist's birthday.
