November 11 to 18 marks the second annual Kingston Restaurant Week (KRW), when 'being out is in' and more Jamaicans will step out and enjoy all the culinary offerings of the city.

Now is the most convenient time to take out that lovely lass you've been eyeing, remind your loved ones that your affection is still ripe, or just enjoy good food in the company of good friends.

Going out requires dressing up, however, the lines of appropriate men's wear for dining out are blurred.

What to wear

The pricing categories give some hints as to what might be suitable attire.

Locations of 'Tasty' are less formal than 'Savoury' and 'Savoury' less formal than 'Delectable'.

Generally, those classified as 'Delectable' and most 'Savoury' locations require semi-formal wear, but semi-formal can be one of the most frustrating dress codes.

Dress pants with dress shirt, and optional tie and/or sports coat.
