Kingston Rotary Club, disabilities association to hold memorial service
published: Wednesday | November 1, 2006

The Rotary Club of Kingston, in collaboration with the Combined Disabilities Association, will be holding a memorial service for the late Past District Governor (PDG) Keith I. Daley, O.D., on Sunday, November 12, at 4:00 p.m. at the University Chapel.

The offering from the service will be used to launch the Keith Daley Scholarship Fund for a Person with a Disability.

Daley is said to have made valuable contributions to the welfare of persons with disabilities for many years, particularly when he was president of the Rotary Club of Kingston.

"It is therefore a fitting gesture to remember someone who had such an impact and left an indelible mark on our lives," the Rotary Club said.

An invitation has been extended to Rotarians, members of the Masonic Lodge, persons with disabilities and the general public.

Special items will be presented by the students of the Lister Mair Gilby School for the Deaf, Jennifer Anderson, president of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew, and the Masonic Lodge Choir.

The message will be delivered by the Rev. Dr. Webster Edwards.
