Almighty God, you desire for all to live in peace, unity and harmony. We thank you for sending your Son, Jesus Christ as the Prince of Peace into the world to help us experience true peace.

We pray that there will be increased use of mediation services by the legal profession.

We pray for Executive Director, Donna Parchment and her team, that they will continue with their mandate. We pray for all pastors, chaplains, guidance counsellors and community leaders and others who engage in dispute resolution, that they will be faithful in this ministry of resolving disputes.

We pray for peace and love in society, especially those areas prone to violence and those experiencing conflicts - East Kingston and August Town. May aggrieved parties agree to discussion that leads to confession, forgiveness and apology.

We pray that mediators will be patient and not rush the mediation process but rather attempt to understand the underlying issues. Grant them wisdom that they may exercise the right approach to engender peace among your people.
