My daahlings, it's been one fabulous week, and then some! Honeys, we are talking Crystal and Beluga fabulous here, and nothing but!

Luvs, as we speak, partying hell is popping over in sensationally fabulous Negril, and for those missing out on all the hotness unfolding over there on them there gorgeous white sand beaches at Hedonism II, then honeys, hold on to your horses and wait for it because pumpkins, it will be all about Hedonism III near Salem, Runaway Bay, St. Ann, this coming week. Children, there will be hell to pay when the dust settles on this week of absolutely fabulous madness next weekend, because honeys, we are talking hot-to-trot here, and nothing but!

Holy water! Holy water! Holy water and a dozen hail Marys! But honeys, aah do declare, as the slogan implores: 'Be Wicked For A Week', so honeys, it's time to indulge the senses, and then some!

Now, Canadian-based Italian-born television producer and Indy film-maker, Joseph Tito, is all set to return to Kingston this weekend to do some scouting and talent spotting for a fabulous TV Game-Show, that is all set to hit screens all across this here fabulous island early next year.

Then film and music producer and real estate powerbroker from Chicago, Joe English, is on his over 1,000 visit to Jamaica, and this time to add the finishing touches to his first novel - A Place Called Steerage (working title).

Now, sweet things, this here scribe has seen an advance copy of the tome in question, and children, it is a page-turner and like no other.

No, no giving away of the plot here, but dovecakes, suffice it to say that indeed, the plot most certainly thickens, and pumpkins, how!

Birthday celebration

Now, tomorrow being Saturday, Roman Tavares-Finson, he being the son of noted criminal defence attorney and sometimes politico Tom Tavares-Finson and his stunning wife, Rose Tavares-Finson, will celebrate his birthday, and honeys, the partying will be on in earnest over this here weekend at the couple's fabulous appointed Stony Hill estate, so, sweet-thing, wait for it!

Speaking of birthdays, Mark Myers, heir to the KFC fiefdom here, joined the 40s club last week. Now, the buzz is it rained cats, dogs, and then some last weekend, but thundery showers and moody skies were not about to rain on that there fab-fest, and fab-fest it was too, with DJ Squeeze serving up some mighty fine musical treats that had guests partying up a storm into the wee hours of the morning.

Then my dears, come Wednesday of next week, it will be all about the oh-so-faultlessly fabulous looking and oh so stately Beverley Anderson-Manley, as this former first lady will be celebrating another year of the fabulous life!

Daahlings, and looking as good as she does, it will surprise y'all to know that indeed, 60 is really the new 40, as how else could y'all explain why at 65 Mrs. Anderson-Manley is a head-turner, and then some!

Also celebrating his birthday on Wednesday is young Brandon Benjamin, the son of security conglomateur Kenny Benjamin and his lovely companion, Aloima Suarez. While on Thursday, his god uncle, businessman and restaurateur Rajiv Bakshi, will be blowing out the candles on his birthday cake at a coy celebratory affair being hosted in his honour by his companion, the lovely Dorothea Gordon-Smith, at their upper St. Andrew residence!

Many happy returns to y'all and champagne toasts, with Beluga, treats!

And speaking of fabulous invites, my dears, some thought it a little early, but dearhearts, the prized and coveted invite to Laurie and Ruth Hussey season-ending shindig at the Terra Nova Hotel, to see out 2006, is already out and dears, they are quite hot - passport, with the requisite visas and all.

Now y'all know that this one promises to be all that as with the Husseys, my dears, first class is not a boarding pass trotted out at times for an airline flight, but is actually a way of life.

It happened a few weeks ago now, but fab-society has just got word of it, and my dears, the congrats are pouring in like there will be no tomorrow to Peter Millingen and his simply gorgeous companion, Stacy Barbar, who dashed off to Montego Bay and tied the marital know in a fabulous but hush-hush ceremony in that fine resort city a few weeks ago.

Doves, the buzz is it was all that, and so now it is indeed Mr. and Mrs. Peter Millingen, so, pass the champagne please!

And love is definitely in the air, as indeed, just this Sunday, the world-famous and oh so faultlessly talented Chef Darren Lee, of the deliciously famous Strawberry Hill Hotel and Spa, in fab Irish Town, tied the knot to the love of his life, the oh-so lovely Xanu Field, in a fine ceremony at - you guessed it - Strawberry Hill, and honeys, how!

Dears, guests are still talking about the fare and the buzz is it was as fine as they come, as indeed, it seems the new trend in fares at weddings was on and in earnest last Sunday, as indeed, the oxtail, sprats, curried-goat, rice 'n' peas mannish-water and such-the-like was not only starring, they were in hot demand and made many an encore.

And mon congrats, all around!

And yesterday, it was all about the Hon. Aaron Matalon and his wife Marjorie Matalon, who were both honoured by the National Gallery of Jamaica in a special ceremony at the gallery headquarters, for their contribution to national development over the years.

Celebrated art collectors and patrons, the Hon. Aaron Matalon not only served as chairman of the National Gallery from 1991 until 2002, both he and his wife have been faultlessly generous, in that they have donated over 200 pieces of priceless artwork to the National Gallery from their private collection.

And so it was to say thanks and express the gratitude of the art aficionado and the nation in general that a special ceremony was constituted to honour the Hon. Aaron and Marjorie Matalon yesterday, that saw Tourism Minister, the Hon. Aloun Asssamba, presiding.
