I did not get to buy no lotto tickets this week. I am not loco or crazy, especially with such a large sum in circulation. I might have stated that I do not like large jackpots but that was not the reason. I was hit by my birthday jinx again, think I need a bath. For the past ten years I have always encountered some saltiness at this time of the year. My entire family became sick and my house was like a hospital without sexy nurses. This was the time I needed to be petted, pampered and powdered but there was nobody for us. It was a week when I could hardly even stand. My first attempt at trying to write this article, I dropped off the chair and lick my head on a bookshelf and I just jump in my bed. Have you ever felt that you would want to halla but big man not suppose to cry?
To have your entire family sick in bed is not a nice experience. First, the children will need a lot of reassurance and attention. It is haunting if their parents cannot even lift a straw. Secondly, it is important to have a health plan to reduce cost. The farmer in Green Island, Hanover, that buys his lotto ticket at Mr. Lee Chung shop might wonder what I am talking about. The majority of poor people have never heard about BLUE Cross, etc.
Your backbone
The money for the doctor visit is so high and to go the pharmacy is even higher. In rural Jamaica it is important to know the distinction between a pharmacy and a drug store. You should have ample supply of fresh vegetables and fruits in your house. It is not the fast food that is going to help you out, patty and coco bread will never give you Vitamin C or X. I crawl to the supermarket to pick up just a few items and it was nearly $2,000. I could never live in Kingston because I cannot beg my neighbour her tomatoes. You have to maintain good relationship with your neighbour. Your relatives will fail you but trust me; your neighbours are your backbone. Uptown Jamaica can never understand ghetto life and why people defend their streets. The only time I had to celebrate is when Bush received his backsiding both in the Senate and the House.
The jackpot is high and we want to win some money. I am going to give you an analysis and the first 20 numbers of the game. We will be looking at the period from the first draw in January to the last draw in October of this year. The most popular numbers are 6, 2 and 1 that rolls 20 times followed by 18 (19 times) and 17 (17 times). The numbers of 14, 12, 3, 7 and 8 came 15 times followed by 16, 20 (14 times), 4 (13 times), 13, 9, 19 (12 times) and 15 (10 times). The three lowest numbers are 11 (9 times) and 10, 5 (8 times). The last time number 5 was effective was on September 13. I think number 11 and 4 are the numbers to watch.
The big jackpot gone to one person and it is back at $7 million. The numbers are 6, 14, 17, 24, 27, 34 and 37 the bonus ball. There were four bonus ball winners of $180,272 and 27 been repeated. The jackpot numbers for last Saturday were 13, 16, 26, 27, 31, 37 and the bonus ball of 10.
I did not get a thing for my birthday. I am now ancient but not extinct as yet. I did not know that Dr. Orville Taylor and I were born on Guy Phart day. I wonder how The Gleaner tolerates two madmen as columnists. Can you imagine that people are telling me, the Rasta man, that the best thing for my illness is a nice piece of corned pork?
