How do you stay ahead of the game in a competitive sector? Simply keep updating your services to your customers.
That's the thinking behind National Commercial Bank's new KeycardBiz. This new creation is a purchase card for the business sector with an exciting rewards system. The card was launched at the company's Wellness Centre, along Phoenix Avenue, on Wednesday.
"We recognise that if we are to be a great financial institution then we most play an important part in enduring your competitiveness as our customers in an ever-expanding global market place which changes rapidly from day to day," said group managing director of NCB, Patrick Hylton.
Never a company to be compared with the ordinary, NCB unveiled a large replica of the card with four synchronised swimmers retrieving it from the bottom of the pool and handing it to Hylton, his deputy, Dennis Cohen, and Courtney Campbell, general manager of retail banking.
Tremendous opportunity
"NCB KeycardBiz represents a tremendous opportunity for Jamaican businesses and this included and is particularly geared towards the Small Market Enterprises segment, corporate entities and government agencies," said Hylton.
Of course there were many questions about the card with guests having the opportunity to start their plans that same night. Some of the rewards benefits that caught the attention were the travel reward system and the nearly one per cent cash rebate on all purchases. The user also has a credit period of up to 55 days and an interest rate below 40 per cent per annum. Businesses can operate one account but have individual cards for their employees. At the very least, a lot of the paperwork that usually goes with this type of transaction is eliminated.
The formalities out of the way, guests enjoyed cocktails as they sought to get more information on this new initiative. Guests included Dr. Blossom O'Meally Nelson; her sons, Nelson and Tal Stokes; Omar Azan, and Rohan Wade.
