Bus stop relocation in Liguanea November 24
published: Wednesday | November 15, 2006

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has advised commuters that it has been granted approval to relocate the bus stop currently along the property boundary of the new United States Embassy construction site in Liguanea, St. Andrew.

The bus stop will move 150 metres east on Mona Road along that same property boundary to be located across from the Liguanea Fabricare Centre.

The relocation will take place by Friday, November 24.

This bus stop relocation serves the following routes: Regular routes: 19A, 61, 66 70, 72, 75, 77 and 78; and Premium routes 128, 303, 319.

Better service

The relocation of the bus stop will also include the relocation of the bus layby and bus shelters, and will facilitate better service for JUTC passengers and minimal disruption for motorists when the U.S. Embassy eventually opens in that area.

Commuters who have any further queries are invited to contact the JUTC,s toll-free number at 1-888-588-2287.
