Chris Gayle, the world's top all-rounder, is Jamaica's Cricketer of the Year for the third straight time.
Though he did not score a century in the calendar year, Gayle managed over 800 runs in eight Test matches which made him a virtual shoe-in for the Restaurants of Jamaica Award and $100,000.
Dudley Gayle, Chris' father, collected the award on behalf his son who is on West Indies duties in Pakistan.
Fast bowler Jerome Taylor was named Jamaica's Young West Indies Cricketer of the Year, while former West Indies off-spinner Gareth Breese collected the Laurie Williams' Award for the Most Disciplined Jamaica Senior Team Player.
World renowned photojournalist, Headley George 'Dellmar' Samuels, was given the Chairman's Award for his service to the sport. Samuels has covered all seven Cricket World Cups in a career covering more than 100 Test matches of the regional team. He has also filmed the national team in action throughout that period.
Meanwhile, for local competitions, Lorenzo Ingram of Trelawny was the toast of the night's ceremony, which was held at the Courtliegh Auditorium.
Ingram walked away with five awards, the Lyndel Wright Trophy for the top all-rounder; the R. K. Nunes Trophy for scoring most runs (802) in the Red Stripe Championship; Highest Individual score (173); Most Centuries (three); Best Bowling (8-45); and the G. Roy Williams Trophy for the Most Disciplined.
In the Super Cup, Bevon Brown (51) collected the O.C. Scott Trophy for taking most wickets and the most five-wicket hauls (five).
Mel Wint got the award for Most Runs (679) in the Super Cup while Donovan Sinclair (534 runs and 29 wickets) of Manchester took the top all-rounder award, also in the Super Cup.
Damion Jacobs of Melbourne scored the competition's only double century, 200 not out and was rewarded for that with the Ken Weekes Trophy.
