So you think you make the best Christmas cake in Jamaica!

Family and friends just cannot seem to get enough of it. How about sharing that taste with Food readers? Let our expert panel of judges return with a slice by slice verdict in our Blue Band margarine-sponsored Ultimate Christmas Cake Bake-Off.

How it works

If you feel up to test, send us a note by November 30, telling us about your cake. Include your name and contact numbers. If you are selected, you will receive one pound of Blue Band margarine (the only brand to be used in the cake). Then, bring your cake to The Gleaner for judging on December 13.

The winner will take home a grand prize of $50,000; second place will win $25,000; and third will win $ 10,000. There will be consolation prizes of gift baskets - all courtesy of the sponsor.
