The Editor, Sir:

I am a Jamaican in need of someone from the Ministry of Land or Operation Pride to help me to get my money back. I have paid $72,000 over a period of time and was told by a manager at the National Housing Development Corp. Ltd., 13 Cale-donia Avenue, Kingston 5 that there is no record to show that my money was paid. The officer in charge told me in September, 2006 she would send my receipts which she photocopied to Accounts Department and give me a reply and it is now November, 2006 and no response. I am very worried as I am a single mother and need my money back. I need the Prime Minister to see this letter because I know she has a heart for the poor and needy in Jamaica. The land is at Shaw Park, Greenfield in Ocho Rios, St. Ann. And I always pay my money at National Commercial Bank in Ocho Rios into the Shaw Park Greenfield account. My receipts are my witness.
