Waterhouse set to do well
published: Sunday | November 26, 2006

Peter Hibbert

WATERHOUSE PRESIDENT Peter Hibbert says his team will be ready for the the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championships on December 8.

Despite financial concerns and, recently, a little crowd trouble, Hibbert says his team will not have a problem performing well at the championships.

"I don't think there will be a problem. I watched the players' reaction to the incident and they were very disappointed but they are tough," said Hibbert.

The Waterhouse president was also critical of the media, pointing out that they needed to focus on some of the positives coming out of Waterhouse.

The way the media portrays Waterhouse, Hibbert said, makes it difficult for his administrators to get sponsorship for the championships, which will cost the club about $3.6 million.

"It's very difficult right now but we have made a commitment and we are going to stick with it," Hibbert said.
