The Gleaner Company Limited on Monday recognised three corporate entities for their support of two of its publications targeting the nation's students.
Digicel, the Petroleum Corpo-ration of Jamaica (PCJ), and Life of Jamaica (LoJ) were honoured for sponsoring the Children's Own and Youthlink magazines.
Their sponsorship allows free copies of the publications to be sent to schools across Jamaica's 14 parishes.
The Children's Own targets students at the prep, primary and all-age levels, while the Youth-link goes to students attending secondary and high schools in the country's 14 parishes.
Representatives from Digicel and PCJ attending a special breakfast at the newspaper's corporate offices in downtown Kingston said that they were pleased to be associated with the two magazines for students and expressed their continued support.
