CALL FOR QUARANTINE - Health Ministry wants help to combat malaria outbreak
Government last night urged residents of areas affected by the current outbreak of malaria to initiate a self-imposed quarantine, as the Ministry of Health admitted it could not guarantee there would be no spread of the disease.

Fire guts bedding company - again

A massive fire severely damaged a section of the Jamaica Bedding Company in Old Harbour, St. Catherine, yesterday, the second time over the past 13 months, leaving 15 persons jobless.
