Nine months after Peter King was murdered at his Waterloo Road home in St. Andrew, police on Sunday were summoned to an apartment believed to be owned by the former trade ambassador to investigate another murder.
It is believed that Wayne Pinnock, 35, of a Waterloo Road address, whose decomposing body was found with multiple stab wounds and the throat slashed, was killed by a male lover.
The Constabulary Communication Network reports that neighbours noticed a foul odour coming from a room at the apartment. Upon investigation, the decomposing body was found. An on-the-spot post-mortem revealed that death was caused by injuries inflicted by sharp objects. The Half-Way Tree Criminal Investi-
gation Bureau are investigating.
In March, the nude body of the former diplomat, who was chairman of the Trade Board, was discovered in his bedroom with throat slashed and multiple stab wounds to the chest.
