The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) says it will unveil its manifesto in February, eight months before general elections are constitutionally due.
JLP General Secretary Karl Samuda said the party would continue broad-based consultations as it prepares the document, adding that it would also hold discussions with the private sector to get its input.
Work on the ground
Mr. Samuda told The Gleaner that the party would continue its work on the ground as it employs new strategies to sustain its election campaign.
In July, the JLP kicked off its election campaign and toured several parishes, ending with a mass meeting in Munamar Square, Spanish Town.
The JLP rolled out its slate of 60 candidates to contest general elections last month while the PNP has named 58. The PNP says it will have all its candidates in place before year-end.
