The Gleaner'sReclaiming Agriculture and Farmers' Weekly features were recognised and awarded by the island's leading farmers' organisation, the Jamaica Agricultural Society.

The Reclaiming Agriculture feature was awarded the JAS' top award for outstanding contribution in promoting agriculture in Jamaica at an awards luncheon held at the JAS headquarters downtown Kingston last Thursday. The feature also received a certificate of appreciation.

Farmers Weekly, The Gleaner's weekly agricultural feature was given a certificate of appreciation for contribution to the promotion of agriculture.
