'Called to the Kingdom International', a religious charity based in Albion, St. Thomas, and registered in the United States, will be staging a massive prayer rally to ring in the new year.

At 9:00 p.m. on December 31, the group will gather at Mandela Park in St. Andrew for a watchnight service filled with prayer and singing.

prayers for the nation's leaders

The service is expected to go on until about 6:00 a.m. on January 1. At this time, a group of church leaders and pastors will walk from Mandela Park to Jamaica House where they will offer prayers for the nation's leaders.
