Jetsetters 'A' defeated Ravens 'A' 32-26 in their Group One top-of-the table showdown in the Jamaica National (JN)/Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) Open League netball competition at the Leila Robinson Courts on Saturday.
Jetsetters 'A' now lead the Group with 18 points, three ahead of Ravens 'A' (15) and Springfield (10), who registered a 25-21 win over De la Vega City.
Jamalco lead Group Two with 18 points, followed by the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) and Hampshire 'A', both tied on 12.
First loss
Group Three leaders Jetsetters 'B' suffered their first loss of the season when they went down 25-23 to Skibo 'B', while Ravens 'C' scored their first points of the season with a 19-16 success over Jamaica Fire Brigade.
Despite the defeat, Jetsetters 'B' still lead the group with 15 points, followed by Skibo 'B' and Tivoli in joint second place with 12 points each.
In Group Four, Friendship defeated Police 'C' 20-19.
Waulgrovians 'A' lead the group with 15 points, trailed by Eden Strikers (12) and Friend-ship on (9).
In Group Five, Police 'A' defeated Alpha 34-24 and Breaton stopped Up Park Camp 30-9. Arnett Gardens lead the Group on 18 points, with Police 'A' in second place on (15) and Alpha third on 12.
In Group Six action, Police 'B' defeated New Kingston Raiders 29-22 to move into joint first place on 12 points, along with Blades United. Molynes United 'A' are third on (9).
Biggest margin
In Group Seven, Windalco registered the biggest margin of victory when they whipped Duhaney Strikers 60-6.
In other games, Grants Pen Archers beat Hagley Park 35-7, Red Challenge edged Bridgeport United 22-21.
Windalco lead the Group with 18 points, followed by Red Challenge (15), Ebony Strikers (12) and Bridgeport (9).
In Group Eight, Tivoli 'A' maintained their unbeaten run with a 39-19 victory over Alexander Strikers. In another game, Skibo 'A' beat Torrington Park 28-36. Tivoli 'A' continue to lead the group with 18 points, three more than Alexander Strikers (15), while Ebony Strikers are third on nine.
The teams will now turn their attention to this weekend's consolation knock-out competition.
