LETTER OF THE DAY - Blue lights pointing to traffic breaches
The Editor, Sir: I want to bring to your attention a seemingly innocuous activity which is gaining more prevalence and extravagance, but on examination will reveal the failure of at least three state agencies.

Robbing us of growth

The Editor, Sir: In a recent speech, Dr. Omar Davies, Minister of Finance, expressed disappointment that Jamaican capitalists fail to make a bid for the Jamaica Public Service Co.which Mirant Corp. has put up for sale.

Vote for change

The Editor, Sir: No one will deny that your lovely country is going downhill fast. As some said, "if nothing changes, nothing changes."

Defending the National Housing Trust

The Editor, Sir: Please allow me to join the National Housing Trust (NHT) debate. They have come under heavy criticism for building only 150,000 houses in its 30-year history.
