Cop robbed by gunmen
After the vicious killing of four policemen over the past four weeks, plus the stabbing of a constable in Rockfort, Kingston, and the mob beating of another in St. Mary, another member of the police force was again attacked by gunmen.

It is now certain that the William Knibb High School in Martha Brae, Trelawny, will keep its sixth form even as more tertiary institutions are being sought for the parish.


Children warned not to interfere with anti-mosquito fogging vehicles

Residents of Denham Town, Greenwich Town, Tivoli Gardens, Union Gardens, Delacree Park and Trench Town in the Corporate Area are being advised to keep their children away from anti-mosquito fogging vehicles working in those areas.
