LETTER OF THE DAY - Contempt seen in cartoon portrayal
The Editor, Sir: The ongoing 'debate' between the Office of the Prime Minister and The Gleaner ... with regards to the question of the costs of overseas travel is a matter of concern on which I would like to comment.

Freedom gone too far

The Editor, Sir: I am appalled at the cartoon of the Prime Minister in The Gleaner dated February 1. I have listened to the clip on the interview that she had done concerning the issue...

They walk too freely

The Editor, Sir: I had the unfortunate luck of meeting a person who seems to think that displaying and caressing their body parts in public is sexy. These are the type of people who give our beautiful island of Jamaica a bad name.

How garrisons were born

The Editor, Sir: If a survey could be done on inner-city residents 30 years or over, I am almost sure that you would find that a large percentage are actually from rural parishes.
