VOX POP - Are you happy with the West Indies' 15-man squad?
published: Saturday | February 17, 2007

From left, Keith McLeod, Fiona Hamilton, Roy Thompson, Carlene Lambert, Neville Leslie, and Bentley Samuels.

Are you happy with the West Indies' 15-man squad?

  • Keith McLeod: Well, I am very happy with the players because it looks like a good selection, good players and I am just waiting to see what is going to happen.

  • Fiona Hamilton: I am not fully satisfied with this 15-man squad. The new player, Kieron Pollard, at such a level the decision is not a wise one. You can try him at other local matches but not something of this high calibre.

  • Roy Thompson: Yes, I am pleased because of all the players I have seen so far, if these 15 players put their head down we can perform up to standard and win the competition.

  • Carlene Lambert: Yes, I am happy with these players because they deserve it and I know they will try. And I think that they will win the World Cup.

  • Neville Leslie: I am happy with the players. I love the players who the selectors pick, like the newcomer Kieron Pollard.

  • Bentley Samuels: I am not happy with what the selectors have done because they left out Runako Morton, and he is a very good all-rounder.
