Kim Teresa Walker and Stephen Andrew Powell pledged their eternal love, on Saturday, last week. The memorable event took place at the gold room of the Mona Visitors' Lodge. Rev. Dr. Ralph Hoyte officiated and master of ceremonies was Adrian Robinson.

The bride is a vice-president of Sun Trust Bank in Atlanta, Georgia, and the groom is a senior technician employed to Direct TV, Atlanta, Georgia.

She is the daughter of Justice Clarence Walker, retired judge of the Court of Appeal and currently commissioner of the newly established Electoral Commission of Jamaica, and his wife, Angela. He is the son of Atlanta-based Trevor and Corrine Powell.

Soloist, Dimario McDowell and Touch of Elegance, featuring Dr. Carol Ball and Paulette Bellamy, provided music. The wedding was coordinated and decorated by Laurel deMercado and the cake was the handiwork of Kim Fennel and Carolyn Brown.

Over 200 family members and friends from the United States and as far away as Sweden, joined those in Jamaica for the happy occasion. The bride's older sister, Shelley Walker, was the chief bridesmaid and the bestman was Peter John Murdock.

The couple honeymooned on the north coast.
