Wilson calls for Bell
published: Tuesday | February 27, 2007

SCRANTON, Philadelphia (CMC):

The cruiserweight boxer Darnell Wilson posted a thumping third-round victory over fellow American Kelvin Davis Friday night and then sent out a strong verbal message to Jamaican world champion O'Neil Bell.

Wilson knocked Davis down early in the third round for a smart win and issued a challenge to Bell, who holds both the World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Council (WBC) titles.

"I will knock Bell out. I can take his shots, but he can't take mine," an ecstatic Wilson declared after his latest win. "I would never want to be punched by me!! No guy can take my shot," Wilson declared.
