No parking facilities
published: Friday | March 9, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

Both the Canadian High Commission and the American Embassy built new offices without adequate provision for their clients with respect to parking and restroom facilities.

What could be the reason for this? Negligence on the part of building authorities to approve the permits; contempt for the Jamai-cans who seek visas (as there must be facilities for their staff).

Whatever the reason, it seems to me that neither of these two agencies would receive permission in their own jurisdiction to build similar facilities lacking these basic amenities.

I am, etc.,

A.F.B. O'Neill
