X-ray service now in Falmouth
published: Friday | March 9, 2007

In time for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, MoBay Hope Medical Centre has introduced X-ray Services at their Falmouth branch, located at 13 Rodney Street (corner of Princess & Rodney streets).

The new services complement the medical services already available at the satellite branch on Rodney Street. Other services offered include ultrasound; family doctor (general practitioner); obstetrician/gynaecologist and phlebotomy (blood testing for laboratory analysis).

"MoBay Hope's provision of X-ray services in Falmouth, was in response to the fact that, previously, patients needing this diagnostic procedure would have to travel several miles to Montego Bay, as the service was not available in Trelawny," the medical centre said.

Patients in Falmouth can now enjoy the services in an easily accessible location where appointments will be taken on Mondays and Wednesdays.

"Our medical personnel are particularly pleased at being ready in time for the influx of visitors for CWC," said administrator Judith Farmer.

Opening hours

MoBay Hope Falmouth is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Patients should call 617-5511 for appointments.
