A cricket prayer
published: Saturday | March 10, 2007

The Editor, Sir:

I miss already the news and labrish that is sure to test the faith of many believers during this time of cricket.

Thejuggernaut of international competition has landed on the shores of the Caribbean, and will be in for all kinds of pleasant surprises, arriving in the heart of places only heard about or seen on TV

Beyond the curious who might want to know how a Jamaican really lives, there might be the odd few who might just want to see a football game, or have a whirl at Caymanas. So just take the bus, man, no problem.

I wish our nation all the best that international events have to offer, and will pray that the murderation will cease for the time being. At the end of the day, everybody who tested the space known as Jamaica, will leave with the feeling of One Love.

I am, etc.,

HUGH M. DUNBAR
