Cricket travel changes
published: Saturday | March 10, 2007

The Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority has issued a notice to airmen/pilots advising of the temporary establishment of restricted airspace over the multi-purpose stadium in Florence Hall, Trelawny, and over Sabina Park in Kingston, during the staging of the Cricket World Cup.

Restricted airspace means that no aircraft will be allowed to fly below 2,000 feet and closer than one and one half miles of either facility. The following areas indicate the limits:

  • SABINA PARK

Tom Redcam/Little Theatre, Vineyard Town, Franklyn Town, Manley Meadows, General Penitentiary, Ocean Towers, Denham Town and Calvary Cemetery.

  • TRELAWNY MULTI-PURPOSE STADIUM

Bush Cay, Mount Spring Bay, Roslin Castle, Southfield, Martha Brae, Perth Town and Falmouth.
