They have been in existence for many years and they are a favourite with women the world over, but Jergens introduced a whole new range of fragrances to their Original Scent lotion and from all indications, they have found some winning formulas. The new fragrances include, Cherry Almond, Shea Butter, Age Defying and Ultra Healing.

The packaging is fresh too as bottles are now more sleek, attractive and user friendly. As the local distributors seek to introduce the new line to the Jamaican market, Flair was asked to have several women sample some of them and this is what they had to say.

Works for me. Keeps skin moist, not too shiny.

It smelled very good and it was very rich in moisture and didn't dry out easily.

Oily/silky feeling, the cocoa butter scent is not too strong like the original lotion.

Rich in moisture.

Good moisture that lasts long after application.

For those who don't like sweet- smelling lotion, this is the one. I tested the Cherry Almond lotion. It's fabulous for dry skin, especially after using detergent. It heals and softens the rough areas. However, the almond is somewhat overpowering.

Jergens Age Defying Lotion: The very best thingabout it, it's not oily ... For me this can get an A+.

This lotion has a very mild scent, does what it says on the bottle, which is rejuvenates and restores, and most importantly, keeps your body smooth and revitalised for the entire day!

The Age Defying Lotion blends well with my skin, very smooth, but the scent could be better. I like the mild feel.

I like Jergens lotion because of its non-greasy feel. This lotion disappoints in that it is a bit more greasy than the Jergens I'm accustomed to. But it is consistent with the Jergens line where it has a pleasing, but not overpowering scent.

The one with aloe is so smooth it could be used on a baby. I like it.

I will definitely switch to the Ultra Healing Lotio I have been using the Original Scent and another popular brand for several years now. I like how this new one feels.

All lotions are the same to me.

The Skin Smoothing Lotion feels like a cream for the face. I love the brand I am using now but I may give this a try.

It's very good. Even my young daughter is now using it with me.
