Carifta Trials this weekend

Ricardo Chambers won the 400m.

The annual Carifta Trials to select Jamaica's team to participate at the 36th Carifta Games scheduled for the Turks and Caicos Islands will be held next Saturday and Sunday.

The meet is scheduled for the Stadium East complex, Saturday - 11:00 a.m.-5:10 p.m.; and on Sunday - 11:00 a.m.-4:45 p.m.

Yohan Blake, Schillonie Calvert, Bobby-Gaye Wilkins, Natoya Goule, Ramone McKenzie, Dexter Lee, Darion Bent, Keno Heaven, Yushani Durrant, Cawayne Jervis, Natasha Ruddock, Latoya King, Keiron Stewart, Shana-Gaye Tracey, Latoya McDermott, Alecia Cutenar, Carrie Russell, Jair Francis, Kimberly Williams, Danielle Jeffrey, Latoya Nation and Winston Barnes are some of the top high school athletes who will be on show.

Entries close on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

All entries should be returned to the Jamaica Amateur Athletics Association (JAAA) offices, Room 20, National Arena, Independence Park, Kingston 6.
