Tivoli take on Harbour View
published: Wednesday | March 14, 2007

Kwesi Mugisa, Staff Reporter

DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Tivoli Gardens will look to close out a victory against Harbour View while former champions Portmore will hope to inch past Wadadah when quarter-final action in the Red Stripe Champions Cup resumes today.

West Kingston powerhouse Tivoli Gardens have one foot in the semi-finals following a 4-0 stomping of the 'Stars of the East' at the Harbour View Mini-Stadium last week.

It should be more than comfortable for Tivoli when the teams meet in today's 3:00 p.m. second-leg encounter at the Edward Seaga Stadium as Harbour View have to score four goals just to pull level.

Meanwhile, at Catherine Hall, former champions Portmore United will look to keep their hopes of regaining the title in good stead when they tackle Wadadah.

The St. Catherine team looked firmly in control of last week's first-leg fixture until Wadadah netted a late and crucial away goal for a 1-1 result which, they will feel, will give them an advantage playing at home today.

TODAY'S GAMES

Wadadah vs Portmore at Catherine Hall - 3:00 p.m.

Tivoli vs Harbour View at Edward Seaga Stadium - 3:00 p.m.
